Avatar picture not showing up in "What's New" - anyone else?

Ever since I changed my avatar picture to my "10" version on crazy update day of April 5th, I no longer have an avatar on the What's New page. Anyone else have this problem? (and have since fixed it?)

Marshall power section vs. Matrix GT

FW 10 Release - is there a way to be notified?

Not that I don't enjoy spending time on the forum here with you guys, but is there way to be notified when the firmware update drops? At this point I'm not aware of any notifications except those that the forum tells me automatically (ie. Likes, etc)
