Guitar Tone Help

Hello! Can anybody give some suggestions on how to achieve the guitar tone in the first few seconds of this song? I'll be running mono so I won't be doing the panning. I tried a flanger and a formant last night and got close, but I'm not happy with it yet. Thanks!
