Concerns about LCD Display

I had originally hoped it was just the cable as this seemed to solve the issue I was having with the ultra awhile ago. I replugged the ribbon connectors on the 2 but that hasn't had any noticeable effect. I also tried swapping the ends of the ribbon cable and that didn't change anything either...

Awesome! Just got the Mark 2 delivered yesterday. Out of the box, it sounds heaps better than the Ultra! I spent a lot of time tweaking with the Ultra, and got excellent sounds (what's with the crazy effects on the presets??), but the 2 was heaps more plug and play. Plus the extended feature...

I left the boat on FW11, about to comeback, need advice!

Hey bro, I'm sort of in the same boat as you. I left the Axe 2 around firmware 10 when I needed some funds and got the ultra instead. However, GAS strikes again and I should have an Axe 2 again sometime this week. Once I receive it, I'll update and factory restore it and post up some thoughts :)

Wah Problem

Have you tried using a multimeter to measure the resistance of the pot at heel and toe positions? You can figure out if they match up with manufacture specs to confirm it's the pedal.

Going GEN2 and need FRFR help!

I found the best value solution to be the EV ELX112P. I live in Australia and managed to get it for $600au on ebay (seller had free shipping) from the US. Only thing you have to do is remove a jumper on the amp to make it work with Australian voltages.

I would like to know this too! Atomic inbuilt amp seems to have a few more features, but the Matrix one seems a lot lighter. If I recall correctly, 16kg vs 24kg!

What I would reccommend is to plug your computer speakers into your axe fx. This way would have the least latency as all the audio input and output is going through only one hardware device. You could try this (I haven't tested this, but it should work) if you wanted your axe fx as the input...

I'm not at a computer that has reaper right now, but I think I know what your problem is. Have you installed the axe-fx drivers from the fractal website? If so, go into your audio settings in reaper. Make sure you have the ASIO AxeFx driver selected!

Out level knobs creating annoying clicking noise

You could try leaving your axe fx on the amp page and then use the quick assign knobs to adjust amp level. That would only work on the same patch though I think.

Super Vee and Blade Runner Vibratos: anyone have experience?

Had a bladerunner for a bit, then swapped it for a Gotoh 2 point trem. It felt very stiff and just didn't have the feel I was after. I personally don't feel like it increased tuning stability. Solid knife edges work just as well. Tuning problems usually stem from the nut not being properly cut...
