Noise problem

Thanks all for the input. Using the rear input did not make any audible difference. I have been testing out in a complete dark room - the light did not make a difference either. But you are correct about the guitar somewhat surrounded by few machines. What baffles me is Axe FX being noisier...

Noise problem

One more thing to add, when unplug the guitar and listen to the unit I hear nothing. I have tried maxing out the level as well. So no issue there.

Right I think FRFR is the only answer - Suggestions needed pls

Pardon my ignorance however isn't Matrix also considered FRFR when it's connected to passive FRFR cabs?... I was considering Matrix for this very reason... :?

Thoughts on bedroom studio monitors on a budget

Jerotas, have you heard both KRK and BX5A in comparison? I am genuinely asking this question as I have decided getting BX5A only because of cheap price tag (against KRK). I guess you get what you pay for.. Generally to my ears, BX5A didn't sound so bad except lack of bass and bit of midrange...

Actually, any typical level settings from FAS for the STANDARD manufacturers guitars (with standard stock pickups) would be appreciated. I don't believe it is a silly idea to have something standardised. Or could this be of personal preferences? All the things said, I am overjoyed with how AXE...

I/O Instrument Input set to 28% for Les Paul...is this what others are experiencing

I've always thought setting the input level was a little vaque... to my ears, 'tickling the reds' always sounded little too close to clipping territory (with my guitars it needs to be over 75%+). I'm new to AXE FX so could be my inexperience with the unit.. Still learning.. I use Fender...
