$500k is low for the type of per show guarantees these guys typically get. I'm betting they received at least $1m to do this. That's a lot of axe-fx units. :)

Anyone use their Axe as just an effects unit? Particularly in a W/D rig?

Mine is also used for FX only in the loop of my PT-100. Super clear FX tones that way! Axe volume knob is at 100%. Pretty straightforward FX chain. Everything is in series, except for Delay, Reverb and 2 Pitch blocks.

Stock iPad 3, iRig Midi connector. Looks like it's just sending data, but not receiving it properly. Moving the slider and turning knobs does make the changes on the FXII.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's still not working on my iPad 3. It displays the same symptoms as what was going on before the update. The only difference now is I have 3 blank pages on the EFFECTS tab (before was just a single page). I even did a full reset on the iPad to see...

I'd say push it out...for 2 reasons: 1) It will get the users who are having problems to at least start getting some functionality with AxePad. 2) Although you're still working on it, all of us here can start messing with it and give you more feedback sooner than later. :D Looking forward to...

Correct CF. There's no change to the AxePad in regard to the FX Blocks, Amps, or cabs. It just switches the AxeFX II and isn't receiving data from the AxeFX. It did happen again once today where the AxePad did display the correct preset title, but when I went to the FX, Cabs, and Amp pages...

Unfortunately, it's still not working. :? It pretty much responds the same way as it did before. It hasn't crashed on me yet, but since the previous update, it had only crashed once.

Amps, cabs, and effects thru outputs 1, but effects only thru outputs 2 question

I would think running your FX in parallel (100% wet) and returning them into the FX LOOP block would do what you're talking about.

I'm running an iPad 3, OS 5.1, iRig Midi. When I plug in iRig, it lets me choose from 2 options in the settings drop down list for MIDI SOURCE and MIDI DESTINATION (1. iRig Midi, 2. Network Session 1). I know it's supposed to use iRig for both (or I'm assuming it does), but I've tried all 4...

Global Blocks..either always ON or always OFF in a preset.

That's the problem. The on/off state should have no bearing on the overall global parameters of the block. If you were looking at a real distortion pedal and wanted to tell someone the settings you were using for a particular gig, in a million years would you say, "I have my Klon drive at 12...

So from reading the forum, I realized that using Axe-Edit is useless when trying to create/store global blocks. I've been doing it with great success on the FXII and I've made one for a volume block (for solo level boost). All of my solo presets have the VOL block ON and all my non solo presets...

No worries. We pretty much all know how the Apple machine works when it comes to waiting for apps to be approved. :) I just picked up the Camera Connection Kit for when the new app is approved. Thanks for the hard work! -Steve

I'm having the same iPad 2 issues (5.01). I tried various combinations of the MIDI Source/Destination (my drop down shows options for "iRig MIDI" and "Network Session 1"). There are times AxePad will crash when selecting presets; sometimes the tempo light will blink and the FXII shows it's...
