Dynaflanger - Dweezil and Frank Zappa?

So, I ended up backing Dweezil's Via Zamatta album, and purchased his preset banks! He has to update the presets to quantum before he sends them out, but I will be sure to shoot the updated dynaflanger preset in this thread when I get them!!!

I will be attending a guitar clinic in Dallas that dweezil is hosting before the Zappa Plays Zappa concert on January 25. I will try to get some help on recreating the sound.

If you have an iPhone there is a great app called Jammit - it consists of a collection of studio master recordings, you can set it so you can hear only the isolated guitar track! Can't wait to try this on 6.0!!

Who here got rid of ALL of their pedals for Axe-Fx?

As of yet I have hung on to all of my pedals, I can still find use for many of them. Some are going to be sold soon, I can recreate many of them accurately with the axe fx II, just haven't had the time yet. I enjoy having multiple pedal controls at my fingertips, and since i don't yet have an...

Props Austinbuddy on the stereo effect!! Still not all the way there, but it sounds like you're on the right track. Also to anyone who is interested here's the operating manual for a dynaflanger - the third and fourth pages have a block diagram & specs that might be of some use...

Godlyke is working on developing a clone of the Dynaflanger at the moment, Dweezil is currently doing some of the beta testing of the prototype. Unfortunately they are still in the early stages of development, the product won't be released for quite some time. Also they are considering doing...

Does anyone have a Dynaflanger preset?? The dynaflanger was special flanger that had a built in envelope capability that flanged according to how hard you hit the strings. It was used to get that crazy sound on Frank Zappa's "Shut up and Play yer Guitar" album. Also Dweezil Zappa made great use...
