FC Newbie question

Chris - that's a good point...in my scenario, I wouldn't want both TAP and HOLD to be active at the same time. For instance, I would like one switch to be able to toggle DRIVE 1 or DRIVE2, but not both both simultaneously...Same with compressors - I might want a light, always only COMPRESSOR on...

Thanks....looks like I'll probably disable the HOLD function and expand the number of effects blocks that I can toggle with a couple of external switches.

FC Newbie question

I'm not seeing a way of assigning different colors for TAP or HOLD on an effects switch... I'm guessing that this is not a supported function..? (And to preemptively answer the question of "why would you need to do that"... the answer is that my eyesight is poor and I can't read the scribble...

Setting up and Using the MFC-101 with the Axe-Fx III

Haven't been on the forum for quite a while, and it looks like my invite to buy an AE3 is coming up shortly. Up until I started reading this thread, I assumed that the existing MFC-101 would work with the AE3 similarly to the way it works with the AE2....apparently, I was wrong. I'm not a MIDI...

Rain - I hooked up a MIDI cable from the AE2 MIDI OUT/Thru to the MFC MIDI in, and set the MFC Port to MIDI.... still getting the timeout error.... is there anything else that I would need to do to configure the MFC or AE2 to work together via MIDI?

So...this is weird....Installed 7.0...verified the firmware version.....seeing the new controls in the amp blocks, etc......but none of my overdrive blocks are working. Need to bypass them to get sound out of the box....the time domain effect, multi-band comp, reverb all work fine..... any ideas?

Modifiers and Controllers - Stumped, Screwed

I have an AF2 and a MFC-101, and have two Boss pedals connected to the pedal jacks on my MFC-101. Until I just screwed the pooch, I HAD Volume pedal 1 controlling my OUT1 volume and pedal 2 controlling my WAH1. I tried to disable the WAH pedal, but somehow disabled both. I only changed...

dumb noob question

Could anyone give me a quick "how-to" in loading the new SYSEX A-B-C banks on to my Axe-FX2 using Axe-Edit ? I'm currently loading the bank sysex file as my "source", and then under "SAVE AS", I select "send bank to hardware"...the process hangs after about 7% of the file got transferred...
