[solved] Popping noise on headphones when powering up/down FM3

Thanks for the replies. The reason I brought it up is because the popping is occurring even with the output 1 turned all the way down so I thought it was a bit strange. Please disregard this as a non-issue. I just tried it on my Axe Fx 3 and noticed the exact same behavior. I didn't notice this...

This question is regarding the headphone version of the FM3. Sorry, I tried to search if anyone else was running into this issue but I could not find any information. Is anybody else noticing a loud popping noise on the headphones when powering on/off the FM3? Thanks,

channel switching question - Mesa MK V 35 watts

Actually the Mesa Mark V 35 only has the 5 pin connector in the back, therefore the need for the RJM cable.

Hi, I can confirm that this cable works as advertised. You can control all of the functions of the Mesa Mark 35 through the fx8 with that cable. This is my current rig and could not be happier.

RJM replied to my email, great customer service! They said that the relays on the Mark v 35 are short to sleeve or short to ground so their cable should work. I will report back with my results once I receive the cable. Thanks!

I sent them an email but they havent gotten back to me yet. I only seem to find people reporting the FX8 working with Mesa Mark Amps that have the 1/4 inch plugs on the back (Mark V and Mark V 25). I was just hoping to get a quick confirmation from someone as I would think thats a popular...

Cliff, in regards to the intent to buy poll...

I voted and I plan to get one as soon as they are released. Cant wait to finally become an Axe FX user!!. I really hope there are enough units to go around, this wait is really making me go insane (checking email, forum, fractal page).
