AxeFx2 into UA Apollo Twin into Logic

Ok for some reason I can't record. I have XLR out AXE2 into XLR in on APOLLO Then Lightning to MacBook Pro (to Logic). ALSO I want to have axe edit running too. Seems when I have 2 usbs going only the Axe sound comes through not the UA Apollo Can you guys please help. I must be doing...

Legacy Recording A2 Clips....discussion on how you're connecting to computer...preamps etc

Guess I'm also asking how to send the signal without subjecting the A2 to another set of converters. I have an Apogee Duet 2 with XLR inputs but obviously that would hit another set of converters (I believe I can override them).

Love to hear what you are all doing for connections to your computer. Are you going through studio preamps first & which ones? Trying to determine how much of the tone is coming from the different colored preamps vs. the A2 itself (ie is it time to ditch the pre). Thanks! Jim

How to install the USB driver?

I downloaded it from the Fractal Site... THEN double clicked and ran through installation.... Now what?..is that all?

Ok....here is what I've done 1. Hooked A2 via USB to computer 2. Downloaded USB driver (MAC) via Fractal Site 3. Clicked on the USB Driver Package to install 4. Fresh Download of Axe-Edit 5. Set Midi In/Out on 1st page to Axe-II When I go to update the software...I find the saved file...

Newby... Ultra into Bogner Uber LOOP....why is output so LOW?

Ok...turned off the amp & cab sims. Plugging the axefx into the loop of my Uber. Guitar into Bogner Send to Input 1 Output 1 to Return The volume is almost nothing...when I kick off the loop the amp is loud. It's not the loop (i tried w/ other effects and it works perfectly)...
