Michael Thompson compressor / shimmer?

Sounds like compression, chorus and reverb to me..... the in-between pickup sound of the strat also stands out.. I've heard very similar tones from my ultra...:)

Going stereo live

I played stereo live before and if you use stereo chorus and you stand where you only get one side of the signal.. well it sounds like your guitar is outa tune.... live i think stereo is not very useful... also I remember reading an interview with Satriani and he said the best thing he ever...

recording interface

Does anyone have any suggestions on a low cost usb recording interface?? preferably packaged with pro tools and digital i/o for my Ultra. I'm hoping to record a few demos with quality sound.. Thanks in advance , Donnie

Yes... I loaded the amp/ cab and added the rest.....didn't change the amp settings, just loaded presets looking for a high gain sound.... wow thats good catching that that quick.... ..........................Donnie

Most Excellent Patch

I've had my new ultra for about 2-3 weeks now and just got a custom cabinet (212 stereo with two century celestions) I'm using a Mesa dynawatt 20/20 power amp and wow!!!! what a sound :) but anyways heres a patch I just put together. I'm sure it needs a little tweaking but see what you think...
