Behringer X-Touch as a controller for Axe-FX?

Could a Behringer X-Touch be used as a controller for Axe-FX? It might be handy to have one of those on a stand where you could easily reach down and access variable parameters (volume, tone controls, reverb/delay time feedback, etc.). Has anyone done this yet?

Thanks. Where do I go to do that? I am using IAreSee's layout and it all seemed to work before. I'm not sure what changed. When I get bback home later, I will load the default layout and see if it has this same behaviour.

I got it working. Everything was the "latest version. I reselected the ports in Axe-Edit by selecting "none" and then "Axe-FX III". Additionally, I got my RJM Mastermind GT22 working by updating it to the latest firmware 4.91 and reloading all the Axe-FX III presets. Everything works now...

Axe-Edit 1.12.10. It all worked with the current USB cable (grand new) before I upgraded the firmware a few minutes ago. Fractal Bot works. It upgraded the firmware.

How do I monitor a microphone plugged into Input 2?

Next time I go on a trip and need a minimalist setup, I will just bring one extra 2u rack with my RME Fireface UFX. It has lots of I/O and I can use it as my interface and just let the Axe-FX do what it does best. Actually, my Axe-FX rack is 4u and has one extra space for the UFX. Problem solved.

Upon further inspection, the 7-pin cable didn't work properly, either. I was getting "Name Timeout" on the MFC, so I suppose there wasn't two-way communication using the MIDI cable either. I sent the unit back to Fractal, since it was clearly defective.

Yes, record tracks dry and "in your face" and then you can do whatever with them later: layer, echo, panning, chorus, whatever. You will have preserved your options versus being stuck with FX that can't be "unrecorded".

MFC-101 connected to Axe-FX II does nothing.

Apparently, either the MFC or the Axe-FX II is defective. I have spent two days trying to get them to work together. The MFC powers up via the CAT5 cable, but does nothing else, except receive the tuner display AFTER I press the tuner botton on the Axe-FX II. I get the messages: "Waiting for...

How do you set the MFC software to "AXE FX Mode"? Nevermind, I see how you set it to "Axe-FX II". That makes no difference. There is no communication over the CAT5 cable to the Axe-FX II.

'Axe-fx name timeout!' on MFC

I have everything set correctly (CAT5, Expansion), but there no communication from the MFC-101 to the Axe-FX II. However, I can press the "tuner" button on the MFC and it will say "waiting for tuner". Then when I press the tuner button on the Axe-FX, the tuner shows up on the MFC, so I guess...

I don't have it in front of me right now, but I would get "Waiting for Tuner" and something about "name timeout", so I assume there isn't any communication between the devices. MIDI Ch. is set to "1", plus the previous suggestions, which I had done anyway.

Yes, I did all that. Nothing. There is no communication between the MFC and the Axe-FX. I have a CAT5 cable connected to the expansion RJ45 jack(s). Does something need to be set on the Axe-FX II for that to work? It seems like it should be real simple, but I can't find a way to get it to work.

MFC-101 connected to Axe-FX II does nothing.

I just received my new Axe-FX II. I ALREADY HAD AN mfc-101. I updated the MFC firmware to 1.04 and the Axe-FX II firmware to 3.00. I set the MFC to "Expansion", but it does nothing to control the Axe-FX (change patches, etc.). Please help or advise. Thanks.

Do you run your Axe-FX II in stereo when performing live?

I'm a sound guy, as well as a guitarist. I would run stereo in IEMs and stereo in the mains, but not with wacky ping-pong echoes, just chorusing, etc. i.e. FX that aren't killed completely by being on one side. As a sound guy, I will happily run a stereo or mono input. I don't necessarily have...
