Yea, I like that, and it'll be a good starting point for me to work from as well (new to axe). What are redwirez IRs? and what drives/compression levels or other effects do you use and how are they linked? and what do you do for the clean tone?

metalcore tones?

I need a good tone or two to play stuff like veil of maya and for today. Clear and heavy for chugging, leads, and chords. Any ideas on what settings I should use? I'm brand new to the AXE and trying to figure it all out still :P

So I just got my AXE, I need a MIDI interface to connect it to my computer to use Axe-edit and download patches to the unit. What exactly acts as a midi interface? I'm planning on getting the Behringer foot controller, would this also function as a midi interface? if not what are some...

Two way communication?

so I'm gonna need a foot switch obviously for my axe fx ultra that I'm ordering soon, only thing is I'm not fond of the idea of paying 600$ for the official one (or waiting for it). Reading other posts, I see that there are many other great controllers that work, but they don't have 2 way...

and I just checked the site, doesn't look like the DCM 150 is available any more, apparently it's been updated and is now the DCM200L? and how's the volume of this poweramp?

I was going for the vert 2x12 mainly because it's cheaper than the 4x12. Didn't know there was that difference. Guess I'll go with the 4x12 now. and with the 4x12 I couldn't decide between the rectifier and the stiletto. What do you reccomend? It's gonna be for metal/rock playing/sound.
