MIDI problems with individual effects

It should work. Did a quick test : Sending 176 116 0 bypasses fx Sending 176 116 127 turns on fx FIW : 176 is not status, it's telling the Axe that it's a control-change message

What functions would that be? Looking for a decent controller as well, the size of the LG is one of the things i really like But what funtions does the MFC have, wich you coulnd't get out of the LG?

Axe-Fx II Technical Questions Thread

As I understand there's been changes in the FX-blocks like more controllable parms, a dedicated looper etc. Since an Ultra uses the same DSP would it be possible to turn it into a FX-only unit, with all these changes(ie. firmware without amp/cab)? If so, any plans in this direction?

i would like to be able to put different fx-blocks on voice 1 and 2 ie. voice 1 gets flanged, voice 2 gets delayed.

Thanks, although some people consider me more of a legendary muck-up..... I try to use the amp for some general tone-shaping. It does make some difference what tone you send into the synth blocks. (at least to my perception that is.....)

FWIW: I defined 4 stomp-buttons to switch : 1 : cc7 - 0 , cc8 - 0 --> minor 2 : cc7 - 127 , cc8 - 0 --> minor 7th 3 : cc7 - 0 , cc8 - 127 --> major 4 : cc7 - 127 cc8 - 127 --> major 7th External 7 attached to cc7, External 8 attached to cc8 As a note: in Axe-edit, the shift amount on...

I use the FX loop to split my sound : output 1 goes to PA, output 2 goes to my stage-amp. Normally i would place a CAB-block behind the FX-loop.

Some Violins with minor / major switch

It's single notes, with synth, delay, pitch, reverb It's stomp on = major chord, stomp off = minor chord Uses expression pedal for holding sound, so you can switch stomp before playing a new note. Currently trying to add / remove seventh with other stomp.
