AFIII Scorpions - Blackout - New 5153 Stealth Amp Model

Nice playing. Matthias Jabs is such an underrated guitarist. He was my main inspiration when I first started playing. I saw the Love at First Sting tour at the Pacific Amphitheater in 1984, Jabs was on fire! I think I wore out the “World Wide Live” VHS as well. What a stellar player.

OK, I've tried just about everything to get correlation between CL4 and the mixed IR. To my ears, they do not sound the same. When mixing in CL4, the sound is rich and sparkly, but when I mix it down to a single IR, the sizzle and sparkle is gone and it sounds rather dull. What I've tried...

Yes Possibly, but the AxeFX is my audio interface and the db returns, on all, are set to 0. I’m going to post the patch, along with the screenshot of the CL4, to see if it can be replicated. That will be tomorrow. Thank you for your suggestions.

Mute has nothing to do with it. I can hear the mix just fine, and alternate between the AxeFX and CL4. The problem arises when, I’m satisfied with mix, send it a cab slot, then select the new IR, the level is lower and the sound isn’t nearly as full. I’m going through my Event Opals and the only...

I too have a focusrite interface however, I’m NOT using it at all and all my USB sends/returns are at 0. I didn’t have this issue with CL 3. Something isn’t right.

They are VERY clear sounding with just the right amount of sparkle and sizzle to cut through the mix. I took the patch Cooper Carter made (all things DT), which uses factory IR's, and swapped them out for the JP's - the clarity was immediately noticeable. I'm away from my AxeFXIII at the moment...

Agree but it is an interesting rendering, all things considered. The JWST is a vast improvement over image captures via Hubble. All those millions of galaxies really puts our existence into perspective. Especially awesome is the lensing effect gravity has over light, which is now observable.
