Apple Airtag 2 inside Axe FX 3 unit

Before I do this I want to check with the higher ups at Fractal. Is it ok to install an airtag inside my Fractal AXE FX 3? Meaning will it interfere with the electronics?

The grounded case of the Axe III will probably block the airtag's bluetooth signal like a Faraday cage.

Doubt it'll damage anything permanently, but it might cause noise in the audio, and like folks have said, the tag might not work inside that metal case.

You could try it and see, if you believe it won't actually break anything.

I have an AirTag in a plastic holder in my Rack with my Axe FX III.

I had an AirTag for a while inside of the board that I made for my Axe3. Didn't seem to effect anything, and worked fine.

Not like anyone could have run off with that boat anchor of a board. I'd be surprised if one would work inside the Axe case. it's metal, and grounded, as mentioned above.

I think a metal box will attenuate the signal too much. Not to mention the noise of having a radio emitter right next to all the components.
