Wish Direct numeric entry for the ´´Parameter Range´´

In FM3-Edit (Modifier window), I can adjust the parameter range (Min/Max) with the mouse (drag/wheel) and I can also change it with the keyboard arrow keys, but I can’t type an exact numeric value directly.

Is this by design, or is there a setting/shortcut I’m missing to allow direct numeric entry for the parameter range?

I really struggle with that issue on my axe-fx 3 as well. All the wiki says is that it's a "technical limitation" but I am really hoping that it can one day be overcome. The adjustment by mouse is difficult and inaccurate.

Inconvenient yes, but difficult? Try using the keyboard arrows or holding the control key as mentioned.

Select the parameter and hit Enter?
Edit : AH! I just tried it and it doesn't work in this case. :(

This is funny and timely. I just ran across this when adding a modifier to a control switch to VolPan output level block for a volume boost. I seem to recall that I used to do this in the AX8 and can't remember that it was not possible to input via keyboard.

I will second this wish!

@Michael Pickens , if we're able to turn the virtual knob to a desired value, would it be possible for the editor to automate that same sequence of messages to arrive at the value that's typed in (or at least the closest valid value to it)? Like sort of ramping up or down to the typed in value instead of jumping directly to it in order to mimic the same sequence of events that happen when we use the mouse or arrow keys.
