I am noticing the "target" button in the scene manager is not functional. (The one that causes the first row to follow the selected block) It toggles off instantly when toggled on. I am using the Win64 version.

Can also confirm target button issue.

….and Phantom blocks are back (randomly). Quit/reboot clears them.

Thanks

It seems to happen randomly while copy and pasting blocks between presets.

I copy a block from a complex preset (82%CPU)….then I select a less complex preset (70%CPU) and the new preset shows it’s blocks all connected correctly, plus “phantom” blocks from the complex one disconnected.

It never replaces blocks just adds them. They can’t be deleted except by quitting and relaunching. They only appear in empty grid positions on the simpler preset.

I cannot get it to happen on purpose but had it happen 5-6 times last night as I was working FW24 amps to FW25 (amp reset) versions.

from a complex preset (82%CPU)
80% is the recommend maximum CPU usage. Because the value displayed is an average the CPU could be spiking much higher, and can affect subsystems in the modeler, causing them to run slower or even time-out, which could be part or all of the problem. The Wiki's CPU usage page talks about it.
