Here's mine. V30s have the 27FT (about 2008) code to them - don't know what year the cab's though:

It's good to see I'm not alone in mic'ing with a single 57.

I find myself gravitating to single mics in the past year; just shuffling around a bit to get the sweet spot. And you can't go wrong with the SM57.It's good to see I'm not alone in mic'ing with a single 57.

You could run the Ampero into your DAW without a cab block and use DynaCabs with Cab Lab 4, but it cannot export files in .wav format. It only exports files that can be used with Fractal units.Hi. I want to purchase this to use it on my DAW because I like the "moving mic" experience thing. I do not have any Fractal modeler unit, but I'm currently waiting my Ampero unit to be delivered. Can I export the IRs in .wav to use it on the Ampero when playing live/jamming?
Bought this and it sounds great!https://shop.fractalaudio.com/dynacab-pack-york-audio-4x12-recto/

Thanks. I was thinking about that approach, but as I'm on Windows, I do not know the overall reliability latency wise of the ASIO drivers on the Ampero. But I'm gonna try it as soon as I get my unit. You could run the Ampero into your DAW without a cab block and use DynaCabs with Cab Lab 4, but it cannot export files in .wav format. You can export IRs from your purchased DC packs in CL and import to Ax3 or FM3/9 (not to non-Fractal units). This Pack can be transfer to the FM9? or I need to use Cab Lab only?
Why can't you use CL exported IRs on non Fractal devices? Aren't they just IRs at that point, like any other? You can export IRs from your purchased DC packs in CL and import to Ax3 or FM3/9 (not to non-Fractal units).
You can only export .syx and .IR which are FAS proprietary formats. Why can't you use CL exported IRs on non Fractal devices? Aren't they just IRs at that point, like any other?
No - afaik, proprietary as mentioned above - to go cross-platform I think we'd need export to .wavAren't they just IRs at that point, like any other?
Fractal prefers them locked to Axfx I guess. Would def be cool to be able to use them in other gear but I'm ok with them locked since its been that way since I 1st started using CL with Fractal pack. Why can't you use CL exported IRs on non Fractal devices?
Ah, didn't know, not excited about the CL workflow, so I haven't dived in, yet anyway. Too bad. But it's still great these tools exist. You can only export .syx and .IR which are FAS proprietary formats.
I'm definitely more excited about it than it was. It regularly gets fired up alongside Axe-Edit, which it never did before.Ah, didn't know, not excited about the CL workflow, so I haven't dived in, yet anyway. Too bad. But it's still great these tools exist.
You can’t use Cablab and Axe Edit at the same time though I thought?I'm definitely more excited about it than it was. It regularly gets fired up alongside Axe-Edit, which it never did before.
Only one of them is active in the foreground at a time, yes, but they work well in tandem. You can’t use Cablab and Axe Edit at the same time though I thought?
How do you switch to Axe Edit? Is there something you turn off in CabLab like software live mode?Only one of them is active in the foreground at a time, yes, but they work well in tandem.
I think on Axe edit it pause communicationHow do you switch to Axe Edit? Is there something you turn off in CabLab like software live mode?
In both, there's the pause communication option. Generally when I'm tuning a speaker I'm not editing patches and vice versa, so it works well. There was no real incentive for me to turn on CabLab with previous versions. How do you switch to Axe Edit? Is there something you turn off in CabLab like software live mode?
