Which single amp channel to do it all?

I usually plug in to a single model, leave the Fractal alone, and muss around with my four guitar knobs + 2 push/pulls to get a variety of sounds from clean to hard rock. Occasionally I muss around with the basic amp model knobs, which I keep up on the screen, but mostly not.

Most of the time that's with the Plexi 6CA7 JUMPED, sometimes with the 6CA7 NORMAL.

For leaving a single model alone and mussing around with guitar controls for different sounds, what are folks' favorite models and what should I be checking out?

I like the dumble ODS model for that very purpose.
I use the same patch for 99% of everything , and only swap my guitar typically for tonal changes.

For me it's the Wrecker Express and Liverpool. I dial the amps in for a lead tone and then roll my guitar volume down to 1/2 or 3/4 for clean and crunch.

I actually love that everyone's got a different answer instead of agreeing on the same one or two amps. Really reinforces the value of having this insane box we have with a galaxy of subtly different gear to explore

This is kind of cheating, but for a long time my main patch was the Tucana Lead amp, with an expression pedal controlling gain and level. heel down= clean, toe forward= melt faces. Worked great.

The Fender Princeton and Deluxe amps are legendary for clean to mean sounds in studios and on stages, and the models do a great job. Stick Comp and Drive blocks in front of them for added fun.

I i could only have one, ODS HRM. Can do just fine with guitar volume and that alone, or in combination with a GriddleCake and/or Klone drive....

I use the nuclear tone model for this a decent amount.

1959SLP Treble or Jumped for me. I let it see the DynaCab 1960TV and Rumble EV12L (adds headroom and a smooth midrange). Stick a Strat or Tele in front, ride the guitar's volume knob and engage an 808 boost as needed. Done.
