NGD: Fame Forum IV Modern

Big fan of being frugal here. That's why I stick with Schecters and Epi's, then tweak 'em to my liking if needed. I've said it before, in the hands of someone with talent, a $100 guitar can sound like a million bucks. In the hands of someone who doesn't have talent, a $5k guitar can sound like a $20 Sears Special.

That's a mighty fine looking guitar. *Love* the contours on the top. Is that a matte finish too?

I *love* matte finishes. My last 3 Harleys have all been matte. On guitars it helps them develop character when specific areas start losing their matte and becoming semi glossy due to frequent use/touch/rubbing while playing. That's a very cool look.

Roasted maple necks with satin nitro finishes do this beautifully.

Looks quite nice. Is that made at the world plant in South Korea? I have noticed several brands seem to have very playable and well made guitars coming out of that plant.
