Headphone jack in front isn't the same output quality as back

I don't hear a difference either, except that my external headphone amp can drive the cans harder. That may be the difference.

No difference here either, between connecting my headphones directly to my Axe-Fx XL or listening to the headphones output on my X32 mixer (connected to the XL's OUT1).

I use Audeze LCD2f. Sounds super.
I've compared the headphone out to OUT1 into Violectric HPA209.
Very little difference. To my ears.

So finally .... is there a better place in the Axe to plug your headphone rather than the front input ????
I m intending to buy a beyerdinamic DT 880 which seems to be very neutral .... the fréquence is 250ohms ....
Does anybody could advise me on this headphone??? Give any feedback ...

The headphone out cuts bass significantly w/ my DT880 Pros. I never use it.

I have the same cans and I hear a little kind of rattle in my right ear. They're not that old. Is it possible I somehow blew out the driver with the Axe? That's all I've used it on. I guess I'll have to see if they're still under warranty.
