Need help using MFC to control axe fx and effect gizmo

I was hoping to get 2 questions answered. I'm trying to use the axe fx in my amps loop only for post fx and use a mini fx gizmo in front of the amp with some pedals.

Question 1: how do I set up scenes to control the on/state of the pedals as well as the axe's effects? I figured it out with preset changes but I'd like to do it with scenes.

Question 2: if I just did it as presets would it still have a gap between presets or is that not an issue when there is no amp block?i don't have the amp currently here so I'm trying to figure out the switching with just gizmo and axe fx but no way to hear it at the moment.

FYI I'm using the MFC 101 to control it all.

I've never used the Amp GIzmo, so I can;t answer Question 1.

As for Question 2, I'll stick with my answer in your other thread:

(2) If you want to get an idea of how long the gap will be, just use your rig as is, with straight wires where your amp will be, feeding the end result into a speaker. It'll sound very weak, but you'll be able to hear it.
