I agree it's a great feature for the Helix, my perfect dream scenario though would be an AxeFx in Software. I would pay big for that, because the AxeFx just sounds the best, come on Cliff
My Kemper is a beast, but I swear the lack of editor, and "on the go" bonus of a Helix Plugin would make me sell the Kemper for more guitars lol.
I would only switch now to Axe Fx if they come out with a full Axe Fx Plug in version. Line 6 has the upper hand now because of a full native plug in. People who want a nasty guitar sound, can get it for $400. Tones that rival the Axe Fx. So you gotta think, thriving business is based on new business. There are a lot more bedroom producers than there are touring musicians. For every Misha Mansoor, there are a thousand bedroom producers trying to get great tones, and almost every one of them would opt for a $400 best of the best plug in, rather than spend over $2000.
I would 100% switch to Axe Fx, but only if it will be a full native version. I thank Line 6 for making the market so much more competitive now for customers
