FM3 Firmware Release Version 1.06

I had the same exact issue. Sound to my Mac dropped after about 10 minutes of playback. I was playing music, and then tried using Logic and no output. Had to restart the unit to get it working again. I have not reverted back to a previous firmware yet, but may have to. I am not using a USB hub...

Some cool UI changes coming to the AX8...

This will be huge, because as of now it's very difficult to know what is in a particular bank when you are not using AX8-Edit. Unless you have them memorized of course.

after importing preset AX8 loses all sound

I noticed an odd issue with the Fremen presets with AX8-Edit. I had no sound either when importing. I double clicked on the volume block and it came back. Nothing changed, but it was like there was a break in the signal chain. Double check that....

The banks might be really nice, as we should be able to maneuver them easily into our own setups? But not completely certain as I have not really imported any presets into the AX8 as of yet. As far as price, perhaps the same price as the current AX2 preset packs? Tough to say on that one.....

Yes! I have the axe-II and mfc101 and rarely power them on these days after receiving the AX8. I think you are in for a fairly long wait though, get on that waitlist asap.

Quantum 2.03 Soon? :)

Don't get me wrong. LOVE the latest AX8 release and it's working splendidly for me. I was just curious as to the roadmap. As I said, I tried the new AxeFX 2 firmware and there was a noticeable difference in the HBE/BE. I'm not unsatisfied or ungrateful :)

Just curious, since the HBE/BE got so much love in the new quantum, and I upgraded on my axefx II mk 1, and it sounds awesome. Hoping this makes it to the AX8 real soon now. Thanks guys.

Yes I would start by bypassing the Reverb block in the patches you use. That alone may help you to hear yourself better in the mix.
