Which interfaces actually work with the Axe-fx II full Spdif?

Have you checked your settings on the Saffire Mix Control for the SPDIF channels? I was having a similar problem to yours. I'm not by my setup, so I don't remember what I set the SPDIF outputs to exactly, but I remember that was the source of my problem.

Switching AXE-FX presets from Pro Tools?

Hoping to bring this thread back to life. I've been able to get to the Midi Event List, but I can't seem to get any commands to talk to my AxeFX. For each event in PT, theres spaces for three number values. I assumed the first value would be the PC, and maybe the other two were for CC's...

Which interfaces actually work with the Axe-fx II full Spdif?

Yes. 99.99% certain that's your problem. See this thread: http://forum.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-ii-discussion/58310-setting-up-pro-tools-10-axe-fx-ii-interface-record-direct.html One of the last posts says "I contacted Fractal and was told that their driver has a bug with OSX 10.6.8 and older...

Are you running on a Mac or Windows? If Mac, which OS?

You are in fact going to run into the same issues that drove me nearly insane before finding this post: http://forum.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-ii-discussion/58310-setting-up-pro-tools-10-axe-fx-ii-interface-record-direct.html "I contacted Fractal and was told that their driver has a bug with OSX...

So far since getting my Axe2 I haven't tried recording through either USB or SPDIF yet. However, I've reamped dry signals that I tracked analog and they both sound great. I can hear the difference that Spazi mentioned though and now I'm really excited to start tracking via SPDIF in addition to...

Which interfaces actually work with the Axe-fx II full Spdif?

I've gotten this config to work with my M-Audio Profire 2626. It was a real bitch, though. Turned out that some of my issues stemmed from the fact that my Mac OS needed to be upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion in order to function properly with the Axe2. Can't remember offhand exactly...

Axe-FX II: SPDIF, AES/EBU and general digital I/O idiocy

Just wanted to throw in my two cents. Recently got the Profire 2626 to use with Pro Tools 10 in my recording setup. Was having all of the same "input clock" issues when trying to run a DI track through the Axe2 to reamp. Figured out how to reamp via USB, but still wanted to figure out this...

Thanks again, Bakerman. I stuck with the sequencer method, and everything went down flawlessly. My band played on the Hartford, CT Warped Tour date on Sunday and it was great to have my Axe perfected by then. Appreciate all of the help.

Bakerman, you may have just done it again :) The patches you just posted should be great for what I want to do live. Even if they're limited by a max rise/fall time of 8 seconds, the fact that it will then dwell at the end stage is perfectly convenient. However, I tried fiddling my...

Bakerman, This seemed to work to get the pitch drops consistent, but it still wasn't starting right when I started my patch. Also, I noticed that my 10.5 second pitch rise patch was more like 5 seconds long using the sequencer. Here are the patches that I am configuring for live. There is my...

Okay, I noticed those 8 steps this morning and tried to sequentially step them from 100 to 0 and that didn't work, so I'll try out your idea tonight after work. If that doesn't work, I'll try and export the patches I use for you to take a look at. *fingers crossed*

Hm, your patches aren't functioning like you say they should. The "Slow Dive new" patch starts to drop in pitch, but then jumps up in less than a second, starts to go back down again, jumps up again, etc. And the "Slow Return" patch does the same, only it starts at -2 octaves, starts to come up...

I just uploaded a screenshot of my setup here: http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/6508/pitchrisescreen.png I looked for the "Run Modifier", but couldn't really find that. I'll note that I had to make the Phase and Duty 77.2 and 1, which got rid of the LONG delay in my patch before the pitch...

Hm, Okay I will try these tonight. The issue with option A is that I have some parts where I will divebomb 2 octaves, and then my next patch chosen will START down 2 octaves and rise to normal, as to create a drop and rise effect. I see on the fractal wiki it says "When using a MIDI CC via an...
