My understanding is that it meant they had sent out invitations to folks up to (and likely including) that time. Same as if you were at the DMV and pulled number 41. If they say "now serving 41," that means it's your turn. Again, people have guessed that the lion's share of Fractal's customer...

The other user indicated that he deferred in his response to Fractal, thus freeing them up to allocate that unit to the next person in line, not that he was offering to "give" his invite to anyone else. I don't believe the latter is allowed.
