Recommended/Opinions between these 2 Monitors

I would invest in some room treatment first. and/or get monitors with a DSP room correction. speakers with that feature have also digital input so you can hook up axe via spdif...than there is no added latency, no extra stage of AD/DA conversion.

Just curious - what DAW do you use? ...and why do you like it for guitar recording, mixing, etc?

If you are doing production/mixing for labels/publishers that require you to send them cuts, stems, stings, alternate versions and all, which can be hundreds of files to deliver for “1” SONG!…good luck with any DAW without a batch export function and doing separate exports…You would loose days...

Wah question

I had a similar situation with my recently purchased fm9. I can’t tell where you will find this setting in axe fx 3 but…on fm9 under pedal menu there is a setting where you choose the pedal to be either expression or switch. If it’s set to switch, it behaves like your situation.

FM9 Turbo CPU test

I recently sold my Axe FX III Mk1 and switched to the FM9. While the Axe FX III has more processing power, the difference in my presets is minimal. If I am not wrong, this is because the FM9 has dedicated CPU specifically for reverbs and delays, so they add very little load. As a result, presets...

you can already assign/dedicate a knob for this which is a feature on all units. what would be the practical situation where you would need the reverb mix knob to be replicated in amp block? Not live , since you can use a dedicated encoder for this…at the studio/home when you are using the...

So, who's got expression pedal strategies?

what controller do you use? with controllers like rjm gt series you can assign 16 different parameters/midi commands to 1 pedal and select which one to use via a programmed foot switch.

Real amp vs Axe iii

nice job, I guessed it right but probably was just luck. I don't hear any difference that could not be tweaked and lately whenever I plug into a real amp....the loudness, noice, weight...all that stuff, makes me go back to Axe FX right after.

PANIC! My fractal didn’t work today

Since 2010 i did not have single issue with any fractal gear…Probably just a loose cable but my friend get a case for your axe fx 3. the one on the photo has no case and has scratches all over. Not finger pointing or judging…don’t get me wrong, just so you enjoy your journey with the axe fx 3...

look around and spot where your SLO is in the room, take couple of steps towards it…now you are closer to your SLO (🤢🫣i swear my playing, and tone is better than my jokes….thx to axe fx)
