    I also went from Standard to Axe Fx II to the Ax8. I didn’t need two amps at once, and tuning is faster than with the AxII and MFC. Plus no rack. No regrets.

    RCF or QSC Experience?

    I had the RCF 12nx.Good speaker. Now I use an Atomic CLR. It is even better. Wider sound dispersion. Very even frequency response.

    Nothing more important than this! Set tones at the volume you will be using! If.... Sounds great at moderate home volume (90-95 dbA) but an ice pick live (105-110 dbA) Sounds great live but so dull at moderate home volume. Then... Fletcher-Munson in da house. And after 45 minutes of tone...

    Fractal Audio AMP models: Prince Tone (Fender Princeton)

    The Brown face Princeton has a tremolo that is fantastic and not well reproduced in the axe fx. It goes from deep throb to "Crimson and Clover".

    Bug? possible bug with chorus block [FIXED]

    After firmware 17 upgrade, I had the same experience with Chorus block. All my presets which use a modifier for chorus rate were excess cpu. Loaded up a blank preset and added a chorus, CPU = 10.8%. Add modifier to rate, CPU = 40%.

    matching subwoofers with atomic CLR

    I use a Mackie DLM-12s sub with a pair of Neo CLR's. Crossover frequency on the sub is set @ 60 hz, and I don't touch the subwoofer control on the CLR at all (the CLR is set as if there is no subwoofer). Works well for me, a piano/guitar duo with ez drummer & Trilian bass loops, and 2 vocals...
