Studio Monitors w/ Axe-FX II - Plug in back or thru computer?

I run my Axe direct to the monitors when playing it solo. When recording, I prefer to track at 44.1K, so I run the line outs into the back of my DAW interface and run that USB into the computer (using the interface to connect to my headphones and the studio monitors).

Call me silly, but I kinda like noise. It is an essential tone quality in an authentic guitar/amp relationship. The instant I plug a guitar into an amp, it comes alive. Hum has its place as well, IMO.

That's pretty impressive. I see a lot of folks talk about building their own patches from scratch. I guess it is said that some companies tend to create presets that are geared towards selling a product more than for actual use by the end user. What are your thoughts on the factory patches in...

How much improvement is 10 for you?

I upped from 7 as well, so I didn't vote in your poll. I find the difference between 7 and 10, however, to be significant.

Brit Brown....STILL my favorite plexi style model

Has anyone done that yet, made an amp based on a FAS model? I'm going to check out the Brit Brown. I've been too busy with work, and need to get my FW updated ASAP. I think I'm still on 6.0!
