Two Saturdays ago, my FM3 stopped responding to FM-3 edit. Closer examination showed that there was a physical problem with the USB port. I emailed the support address on their website, and I got a response in about two hours (which was about 7pm on a Saturday night in the Eastern Time Zone)...

FM3 Fan issues after Cygnus

Was it idle, or were you playing through it? Just wondering what effect playing through it might have. I would assume the processing would increase the temp, but I'm normally wrong.

FM3 Fan issues after Cygnus

My FM3 had been on for a few hours before I installed Beta 2, and it did pretty much the same thing as yours after installation. The fan would cycle through 50-ish seconds off, then 5-ish seconds on. After the 5th or 6th cycle I rebooted and it hasn't happened again.

I'm having the same problem on OS 10.14. No problems with USB for Fractal-Bot and FM3 Edit, it just won't pass audio in Logic or Garage Band. I've tried everything I know to try.

Wow, things have changed.

Just did a quick A/B with the tweed Bassman model on both. I think they both sound great, but the FM3 has just a little more definition. I could probably get it a little closer to the FM3 Bassman with the Stomp if I spent some time with it. I usually go for crunchy Fender amp tones. The HX only...
