Some Americana stomp for your morning

I use a couple of apollo 8s for my recording preamp and was wondering about the Ocean Way plugin. I really do like the sound of their stuff much, but havent tried the ocean way yet. Im gathering you think its work the price? Ive a discount offer from them, just curious.

Semi Broken Up Brit 800 G3 FW18 Mark Day

Mark, Do you like the lifeson Les Paul. Does it have the same sustain that a normal custom shop does(non chambered)? Stock pickups? (i think thats what your playing) I loved the tone, fits the few Bryan Adams tune perfecty

I'm sure this has been asked (and answered) many times before, but how do I set up the axe/mfc so that the state of the wah is carried over between scenes? If i turn the wah on in scene 1 and go to scene 2 its off. I don't recall it working this way. The pedal i use for a wah is a mission...

XLR and 1/4" outputs simultaneously.???

I've done it since the Axe I days... I send the xlr feed to the foh and the 1/4 to a small mixer I use to control my monitor. Works great, not noisy (if your gigging with it any slight hiss will be masked by ambient venue noise)

"Make-It-Yourself" MFC Mk II

i've been doing the above(Ethercon cable with velcro'd adapters) on both the MFC and the AXE sides for a few months now. Works great! SO MUCH better than using a straight rj45. If you're a gigging musician this is much more reliable.

Thoughts on SC vs. HB Settings

I would tune each preset for the guitar. Humbucker guitars don't sound like single coils.. why would I want them to sound the same? Bring out their unique voice. Actually I tune a 335 differently then I tune a Les Paul. My tele is tuned differently then my strat. I play different things on...

Picked up a Strat yesterday. Now even more cool stuff to do with the AxeFX!!
