I don't have that exact brand of e-drums, but I have an Alesis e-drum kit. I've always just connected the kit to the computer via USB and used it as a MIDI device that way.

Try putting a compressor block at the very beginning of your effect chain. Compressors do the very thing you're trying to achieve: keeping the volume the same despite picking lightly or aggressively. If you've never used a Compressor before, you might want to Google it or watch some Youtube...

Pitch block for Drop C tuning

@Anese A lot of people have been bringing this issue up for years now and I don't think there is a solution. I think the Pitch block is more suited as a harmonizer rather than a downtune effect.
