Help needed with midi switching

Do you supplement with external pedals?

i was getting curious about real pedals this last week, so i got out my Blues Driver, Tubescreamer Mini and Friedman BE-OD. I forgot just how close the FX8 sounds to the pedals, it's nuts. Especially at live volume, there's no way I could be bothered using additional pedals when the FX8 covers...

No Turning Back Now!

i did the same, held on to my board for almost a year, fired it up again one day and it was such a pain to use compared to the FX8. So i sold all my pedals and bought a Custom Shop Strat :D

Rukus - what the heck is wrong with this drive pedal?

it is totally subjective I agree - but i bet Fractal have an idea of what a good starting point is on each drive type that could be used as the default. Is there a thread on recommend settings for each drive type ? I'll happily add mine for the Ruckus

As the drive models vary so greatly it's very time consuming to scroll through them all finding where each one sounds at it's best. A lot of the drives sound pretty terrible with the same settings as another drive that sounded great. It would be useful if they were set at a default "recommended"...

i had a BE-OD and A/Bd it with the Ruckus in the FX8 - it was so close in the end it was hard to tell them apart
