Thanks to an error in the version file, no window will pop up to tell you about the latest version. I've uploaded a corrected version file, so the version check should start working within the next hour.

A new version has been uploaded to the server, v1.2.0. This was a major update and I ended up going through several versions before it was ready to release; the released version numbers go from v1.1.6 to 1.2.0.

Have you got USE PORT EXPANSION/MIDI set correctly? If you are using the ethernet connection to your AxeFx, you have to set that back to expansion after downloading.

loading user IRs, how to name them

What happens when you use SysEx Librarian? Did you remember to create a preset with Cab1 pointing to the user slot? The name that shows up on the Axe-Fx II next to "Cab:" is part of the data downloaded with the IR; if you were seeing it with SysEx Librarian you should be seeing it with...

Doing a data dump does not cause the MFC to lose its data.

This morning I did some work with unicode filenames and then created a few mixes from the OwnHammer Kickstarter IRs: The only thing left on my list for this version is to deal with the history file getting too large, so this version should be ready to release soon.

I found the bug and it will be fixed in the next release. Speaking of which, I was thinking about audition some more, and I was incorrect when I posted earlier that the behavior is defined by AxeEdit. The behavior is defined by what the Axe-Fx does when you download a user cab straight from a...

I wonder if it is related to some sort of localization issue? I really have no idea why it isn't working on your system. If you run into anything else odd, please let me know. Maybe if I have more pieces to the puzzle I can figure something out.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly. Here is what I get for the three cases, showing first wav and syx and the two choices under file type; then wav showing wav as the only file type available; and finally the same for syx only. This is on WinXP SP3. You're saying that regardless of...

I'm just saying that I used the AxeEdit behavior as the specification for how Audition is supposed to work. My thinking originally was that deviating from that behavior would be confusing, but I've come to the conclusion that it may be less confusing just to do the same thing every time. I...

What version of the program are you running? Audition, as implemented by AxeEdit, doesn't always download to slot #1. If the selected preset has a cab block pointing to a user slot, audition downloads to that slot. If not, audition downloads to slot #1 and modifies the first cab block in the...

Yeah, I've been wondering if anyone would notice if I removed Audition all-together. :D I've started working on a history function for the next version, where saves, downloads, and auditions are optionally tracked and you can open a window that displays the date, time, filename (only for saves)...

I plan to go back and look at Songs and Sets together and see how I can make it more usable. I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Hmmm. As far as just doing a transfer of the firmware data file that shouldn't be too hard. Testing would be my concern; if the download fails will the MFC be in a...

Convert 44.1khz WAV impusle to Axe-FX 2 format how?

AxeomaticDSP handes all sample rates, and the demo version will do the conversions.

It's compatible with v2.13, which AFAIK is the current FW release. The MFC itself doesn't have any specific support for scenes at the moment.
