Had an AX8, will I be disappointed w/Axe Standard?

So I sold my AX8 but have the opportunity to get an Axe Standard. Price seems good. How disappointed am I going to be tonally? Can it load IR's? Am I wasting my money?

LOL! Thanks all! Yeah it's not a great capture and some of the guitars stand out more than others for sure. We have a gig coming up in a few weeks that I am going to try and get full board mix from.

Ownhammer vs ML Sound Lab IRs Test, who is better?

I liked the OH's across the board in these comparisons personally. Agree with the above post not the 3Sigma's... not digging them at all on thrones I bought.

What is your favorite IR Cab Pack/Pack's?

Man the new Celestion IR's are awesome. The Creamback 65 is particularly good. The OwnHammer stuff is great but a LOT to sift through. HATE the 3Sigma packs I bought.

I'm Back!

Nice! I had a good "Trial by Fire" with my AX8 as well. Had 2 hours to get it learned and presets/scenes programmed for a gig. Piece of cake. Wish I got on the Fractal train years ago!

I'm Back!

I have yet to max out my CPU and i have made some of what I would consider to be "full" patches. Some ones I have converted from the AxeII have had the reverb kick off due to CPU though...
