Yes that's the 24x11 version. I think the whole board is more like 25x13, but there's roughly 24x11" of usable surface. And, yes, the board can stay in the bottom of the case. I don't do it because I'm using the Dunlop mini expression pedals and my heel hits the edge of the case if I don't keep...

Fx8 Road Cases?

This is what I have and it's great for the FX8. It's the Gator G-Tour. To accommodate the height of the FX8, I simply removed the four foam inserts. Everything fits perfectly.

Seymour Duncan Powerstage 170

I currently run my FX8 through a Quilter Tone Block 201 and into a Mesa 1x12 cab. I was just wondering if any other Quilter users have had the opportunity to try one of the new Seymour Duncan Powerstage amps and how you thought it compared to the Quilter with regards to the sound of your FX8.

Van Halen 10th string harmonic help needed- Mean Street

This is probably overly obvious, but make sure you don't have a gate in the signal path. I couldn't figure out why my intro to Dazed and Confused sounded like shit until I realized I had inadvertently placed a noise gate block in the preset.

Firmware Update

I haven't updated my firmware in a LONG time. I'm currently using 3.02. I'm not having any issues and always resisted the upgrade because people would report random issues after upgrades. I figured if it ain't broke...don'r fix it. If everything is working fine with my current, though outdated...
