Lollapalooza Live Stream

Light bulbs....

Cliff mentioned this earlier in the thread, and I gotta say I don't believe it at all. 1 LED bulb lasts something like 10 times as long as an incandescent, so right there is the wasted materials of the 10 bulbs, as well as the usage benefits using 6x less energy or so depending on the bulb...

Phantom power circuit fried?!

Synth and pitch block detection with bass

Does the III have better tracking down at say the open E string on bass and for that matter lower. The II started to completely sputter on bass at about G# (4th fret, 4th string). This would be an actual reason for me to upgrade in the future. Especially the synth block. Note, I'm not...

Gigging Cover FRFR Guys???

I second this notion. I have 5 core amp sounds from Clean to mega distortion. They way I accomplish it is only with 3 amps and 2 cabs. This gives me 5 options, but keeps them VERY similar due to using minimal amps and more importantly IMO, only 2 cabs.

Who is using external Soundcards with their band for DI to FOH?

I use Reaper with my MacBook output to a PreSonus Audiobox and run that to FOH. 2 channels. One containing click. One containing any kind of intro track we may use for the set.

4U Rack Case with wheels?

I'm going to be another vote for a regular rack and a cart. I had a 4U rolling rack for a while, and it actually rattled loose screws from the Axe-fx lid. The little tiny wheels do TERRIBLE over bumps, and it puts a crazy amount of vibration into whatever is mounted inside. These days I use...

So the distortion problem could be from 2 things. I'm not familiar with the Samson product, so I don't know if gain is adjustable on it. First is that when you sing loudly it actually overdrives the transducer in the mic. Probably not the case, but possible. More than likely you have some...

Wireless routers for Digital Mixers

The only thing I would recommend is getting one that works in the 5ghz range as well as 2.4, which is most of them these days. This allows you to keep 2.4 a little clearer for any wireless systems that use that frequency. Honestly, any decent router will work great.
