I concur. Felt many of the models were only mediocre and gain was not the issue. Fractal advised me that maybe the product is not for me, perhaps the same advice is valid for you? Good luck!

Which specific anomaly is this? Does it have to do with a delay/phase lock loop failing to lock to the serial input output clock, or the serial input output clock being unstable prior to initiation of the lock loop power domain? Is it an integer arithmetic logic unit stall? Thanks for...

I really wish Fractal would have advised me that a possible firmware update *may* be the solution to some of the "anomalies" and "artifacts" I was hearing with my early unit. Fractal only advised me that the product may not be right for me, that there was user-error from my high-end studio...

I too noticed some strange background noises on multiple amp blocks that I would only characterize as "digital artifacts" or "anomalies." I no longer have my Axe-Fx II to further evaluate but you may see if the below folks found solutions to the anomalies they were also hearing. Good luck...

Not enough headphone volume

I'm using AKG K240M and I think the headphone amp is sufficient. I haven't had to turn it up past halfway. fwiw, have you had your hearing checked recently?

I have experienced the boomy bass, through studio monitors, on multiple patches with 3 different guitars: 70s Fender Strat stock single-coils, Gibson Les Paul Standard with 57s and a PRS Custom 24 with stock dual humbuckers. I will try to see if this also occurs with P90s and burst-buckers soon...

I'm not meaning to quibble, but I'm probably only getting 10 dB's of DR between softest and loudest playing. Yup, read the manual set the input level to mainly yellow lights, barely tickling the red.
