After installing Fractal-Bot, booting and selecting FX8 everything works fine until I select "click to download Firmware Firmware 3.60" When I select the link, the firmware update window opens but immediately goes blank so I can't accept the download.

I need help! I switched from windows to a OS mac computer. Anyway, I downloaded Fractal-Bot to the Mac and transfered the firmware to my FX8. Everything seemed to go well until I followed the instructions and rebooted the FX8 at the end of the process. Unfortunately, now the FX8 has a blank...

I found the problem - Internet Explorer. Foxfire allowed me to open and run FX Edit.

Windows 7 won't let me run this beta update. I keep getting the message that the file is "invalid or corrupt." Turning off the firewall did not work. Any suggestions?

Agreed! Backing off the mix lets amp and guitar tone come through the mix. Individual notes can be distinguished better. Without the mix option, you might say you’re toast…I wouldn’t put it that way but you might.:D

just broke up a guitar catfight.. now what do I do?

I’d recommend living with it. The PRS, pictured in my avatar, was damaged the first time I gigged with it. Like you, I was feeling a bit low at first but quickly remembered that the guitars with the most battle scars were my favorites – signs of paying my dues. Heck, a custom shop would charge...

R.I.P David Bowie - Passed away. A cool dude and then some.

I only had the pleasure of seeing Bowie perform live once...during his Diamond Dogs tour. He never played it safe by hanging onto past successes. I saw a message in the news that was posted by a mourner, which said it all – he (Bowie) was a work of art.
