Envelope-controlled phaser, based on a factory preset.
Very funky.

Place before the Amp block. Set to X.

And don't forget to use the enclosed Controllers block for the Envelope settings.

Talk-box effect, using the Formant block.

Place after Amp block.

Use External 1 (pedal) to control the vowels.

Note: External 1 is also used to engage the effect, using special modifier settings instead of auto-engage.

In any case, thanks for all these, Yek (and other contributors)!

Mutron emulations, both "up" and "down". Using Filter blocks.

Place the Filter at the start of the grid. If you use both Filters in a single preset, use separate rows, or put them in series and change the Bypass modes into Thru.

Also use the Controllers block for Envelope settings.

Adding a 7th or 5th note, using a Pitch block.

Place Pitch block in a parallel row AFTER the Amp block.

Use Scene 1 for 7th and Scene 2 for 5th. Both: X.
Accomplished by using Scene Controllers, so use the enclosed Controllers block.

Requires v12.03 (Pitch Track set to Mono).

PEQ.

I use this PEQ when rehearsing or gigging through FR amplification. It's in all my "amp" presets.

It adds a low midboost (Tyler Grund's tip) for punch. It also applies a low-cut and high-cut to overcome the Fletcher-Munson curve.

Place at the end of the grid.

Note: its Bypass parameter is attached to External 3. Use I/O > MIDI / External 3 Init Value to engage or bypass the block (in all presets containing this block at once!).

Firmware v12.

This one works great! Since I am just now venturing into FRFR, I have OUT2 going to my guitar cab and OUT1 going to the FRFR - any reason this should work before the FXLoop? So the last part of the chain would be PEQ -> FXL -> CAB.

Seems fine with just the FRFR hooked up - haven't tried with both yet, but I suspect it will be ok.

It works before FXL but it impacts the signal going into your guitar power amp / cab.
You won't want that.

Look at this for an example of how to place it:

I guess I am a bit confused... Both OUT1 and OUT are going to different inputs on my Matrix amp. OUT1 of the amp goes to a Xitone wedge and OUT2 goes to my guitar cab.

In both cases the PEQ is before the power amp and speaker, although it is a bit different on the FRFR side since the CAB block is in between.

Maybe I am missing something obvious?

Ah okay, your amp does double duty.

The PEQ is targeted at FR only. That's why you want it out of the FXL path (= OUT2), and only in the OUT1 path with Cab block, by splitting the rows.

I was wondering if anyone had any compressor blocks they could share. Haven't gotten the hang of doing anything cool with this yet. Thanks.
