The Axe-Fx -> Axe-Fx II patch remake thread

I figured it would be nice to gather remade first-gen patches in one thread.
There have made a lot of amazing patches for the first-gen Axe-Fx since it was released. This thread is for those creative and one of a kind presets.

I am aware that not all parameters will translate perfectly, but you should be able to get pretty close. Remember to double pan-values, as the max pan value in the II is 100. Also, don't forget the input and output sections, and the controllers tab. For the controller curves, you might have to improvise a bit, as the II doesn't have the "Scale" and "Offset" parameters, but it does however have "Min" and "Max". As for the amp block, I usually replicate the basic parameters and leave most advanced parameters at default (except for Low Cut and Hi Cut).

I'll start off with the awesome Ebow preset I found in Yek's banks. (Not sure if he's the original "author" or not, but thank you to whoever made it!)
External 3 controls the input gain and master feedback of the delay block.

Great idea. We need to store these in Axe-Change when it's up and running.

There is a phenomenal patch from the Ultra that sounded like a full orchestral string section, you had it your presets..did you rename it as "strings" ?

I can't try it as i only have the II now, but if we can get that patch converted over it would be amazing!!

The Funky Synth needs no conversion, it's among the factory presets in the II.

Thank you!!!!

Loaded the violin patches the other day....the sink full of dirty dishes and no clean laundry attest to how much this patch has captivated me. Amazing....I saw a credit to AndrewSimon, hope I got that right..my hats off to you sir.

I had to replace the Volume/Pan block. I could not get it to work with the volume control set to an external controller. Deleted it and created a new one and all was well.

There was some talk about an orchestral version. I believe I had heard this one where you could send a CC and change the chord from major to minor and also add the 7th.

For those of you converting these patches are you running two instances of AxeEdit and manually dialing them in on the II ?

I'll get to work on that orchestral patch when I get home. It's a very creative one. And yes, two instances of Axe-Edit and manually dialing.

Alas, some of the remakes do not translate 100% because of Axe-Edit bugs. F.e. in the Synth blocks.

Hi, I sold my Axe fx ultra before I got the Axe fx II. The new editor won't let me open 2 axe editors, one to load my old Ultra presets and one for my Ax fx II. When I try to load my old ultra presets the new editor version won't recognize them. Is there a way to force it? If not, I think if I had the old editor I might be able to access them. Does anyone have the old editor they can post for download?

I was screwing around with the violin patch. Added a tape drive after the cab block. Kinda added a little bit of wood to it.
