FracPad for FM9?

This may be a real dumb question, but can you connect to two bluetooth devices at the same time? Such as my Mac for ableton to control presets/scenes and then FracPad to edit? Using the Bluetooth Widi adapter of course.
 
I keep getting the circle of death. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing. What Bluetooth icon on fracpad? Settings on my iPad show connected, the WIDI app shows connected.IMG_8139.png

Don't use the widi app, just do what i told : kill everything, launch FracPad, a Bluetooth icon will appear at the bottom left, near the combos showing regular midi devices. It will only appear once a midi ble is found
 
Here is what it looks like when the BLE device is detected :

Then you click on the bluetooth icon, you see the available BLE device :

I appreciate your help Al! I’m getting closer. I closed all the apps. I reinstalled Fracpad. “Forgot” the WIDI in Bluetooth settings. Rebooted my ipad. Rebooted the FM9 with WIDI plugged in. I got the Bluetooth icon on Fracpad and it asked to pair the WIDI. Still getting the continuous circle saying not connecting.

When it asks for pairing, refuse, just use FracPad, it will handle everything
 
I open Fracpad. Hit the Bluetooth icon. It asked me to pair. I canceled that. I hit the Bluetooth icon again, it shows me WIDI master. Click on that… Still nothing.

Is your widi on latest firmware? Some widi firmwares don't transmit sysex correctly
