I feel you man. We had at least one FW upgrade drop during my multiple trips to Japan (2020-2024).

Friedman Main User here - Sounds very good. I found that the important change was that Negative Feedback was decreased from 9.15 -> 3.87 (less congested with this setting, and lower - adjusting this value has long been a crucial BE/HBE parameter IMO). It also feels.....quicker. More responsive to the transient attack. Looking back at the notes I'm thinking that it could be from the B+ Voltage change.
Cool! The negative feedback knob always confused me a bit because I feel like I’ve seen posts talk about turning it up for a tighter sound, and that's what was mentioned in the last firmware with it’s stock settings up high, but now it’s lower and sounds less congested, so I don’t really understand which way achieved what based on all of the wiki stuff and release notes I’ve seen over the years.

Thanks, but I have the latest Axe edit and did RANF again and it did not resolve it. I can still see in the layout section on the screen of my Axe there is no signal getting past those two points on my signal chain:

If you don't want to live dangerously : Never update just before a gig.
A lot of us don't update until we have a good hiatus from gigs. For me at least, this is even more important with FW updates that make changes to the amps I use.
