Nailed it! Thanks @md1234 . I do not have 'Gapless' = 'All'. I used to but found that I never used multiple presets for a single tune, just leverage scenes. Figured having that option off might save an iota or two of DSP. Just out of curiosity, where did you find that piece of info?

Actually, glad you mentioned this as I updated 'Gapless' = "Chn/Scene". Can't believe I missed that option when I originally changed the 'Gapless' option back to "Off". Has the "Chn/Scene" option always been there? Probably the best option to select if you don't use more than one preset per tune. Brings up another question. Does the inverted preset number color show up with "Chn/Scene" selected?
 
New 6G3 Brown Deluxe is sounding great....currently paired with the 1x12 Black Magic Dynacab (Jensen P12Q). I've been wanting this model for some time so...thanks very much Fractal team!!

I just tried something out. Changed my amp's tube hardness value to an arbitrary value (8.0), when default is 2.6. Did the soft reset from the channel menu in FM9 Edit. Nothing changed.

On the other hand, doing the soft reset for all channels on that preset, this time from the preset manager, did change the values to the correct default. Not sure if that's a helpful thing to report for this issue.
 
Is the link to the presets in the first post the wrong one? Shouldn't it be to FM9-Factory-Presets-9p02.zip and not FM9-Factory-Presets-9p00.zip?

Not sure why the inverted preset color isn't showing regardless of the 'Gapless' setting unless a re-save is not required with the other settings ("Chn/Scene", "Off"). The fact that the 'Save' button is highlighted for all the presets, even when Gapless is set to something other than "All" seems to indicate this is not the case.

The inversion is a very helpful visual cue. In lieu of the inversion I will be on the lookout for the 'Save' button being highlighted in the future, but maybe the inversion would be best to include after firmware updates (when applicable) regardless of the Gapless setting.
 
There's a strange bug in the JC120 model. If the output compression is more than 0 and the speaker impedance curve is set to 1x15 Heart Key, 1x15 Portabass, or the Oxbox Loadbox, a low frequency oscillation begins a few seconds after playing a note through the amp. I've attached a preset with scenes for the various settings, plus a default scene with the JC120 impedance curve that doesn't exhibit this issue. The output comp is set to 3 in all scenes and the oscillation gets worse if the output comp, speaker impedance, or cab resonance is increased. I have the resonance for the two 1x15 cabs set to where the oscillation begins but for the Oxbow it happens at any resonance, including 0%. Setting the output comp type to "gain enhancer" stops the oscillation, but it occurs on both "output" and "feedback" modes.

It's very useful info, because mine does not do that for the DC-30 EF86... (actually, I haven't been able to get this to work the way you described for any model I've tested) which amp model were you using when you tested this?

This actually brings up a question I wanted to ask in the beta thread, but got 100% sidetracked by the tube hardness rabbit hole: what is double clicking a control intended to do? I originally thought it was to do exactly this, but I noticed the values it defaults to don't match the block defaults.

As an experiment, for example, on the 6G4 Super model, if I double click low cut frequency, it goes to 20 Hz, yet resetting the block channel goes back to 10 Hz.

Did it with the USA JPIIC+ Green. However, upon further testing, and to confirm what I was doing, I was not able to achieve the default hardness value through either soft reset method. Only by reselecting the tube.

I've wondered about this also. The depth parameter in the amp block is goofy to me.
