I was triggered by this thread, hopefully this helps.I'll ask one more time:
1. Post the example presets.
2. Do NOT post a preset bundle.
3. Simplify the preset as much as possible. Remove any blocks that are not relevant. Disconnect any irrelevant modifiers.
4. Unlink all blocks from global blocks.
5. Use factory cabs if possible.
6. Include clear and concise instructions on how to recreate the bug.
7. Indicate the firmware version you are using.

Bug: is the "sonic boom" you'll here in the video when spillover is turned off.
1,2) see attached
3) reduced the given presets from @boyce89976
4) i'm on FM9
5) yes
6) turn spillover off, switch presets
7) FW 10.00 public beta 2
I have experienced the same as @boyce89976 it can be well after a long time, and when switching in a quiet moment. It may happen when switching reverb channels in the middle of playing that it somehow gets stored up. The song ends; it’s quite; you switch to the other channel, and there it is. I think this is the issue, correct? If I’m wrong, I’ll delete my comment to avoid confusion, but it seems to be the same thing wether preset or scene change. That's not the original issue boyce89976 is talking about, but yes cutting off the tails mid ring out by switching channels or presets can cause a pop artifact that rings out in the new reverb. The longer and more dense the new reverb, the more stretched out and obvious the pop artifact becomes in the new tails.
The original zombie burst issue is a similar burst that can happen well after the tails have faded out. You can get a similar burst in the new reverb, but it can seemingly randomly occur out of nowhere without playing immediately before switching. I personally have not encountered the zombie burst in quite a while, but boyce89976 says he still gets it during gigs when changing presets, even with spillover turned off.
Yes that's the zombie burst. The two very well might be related, but the zombie one can come out of nowhere when things are quiet so its potentially much more noticeable. Again I haven't experienced it in a while but I also don't use a ton of heavy of reverb either.I have experienced the same as @boyce89976 it can be well after a long time, and when switching in a quiet moment. There is 1% chance this is firmware related and 99% chance my latest post 89 demonstrates/reproduces the issue this thread goes wild about. Why are you still running the beta firmware?
Thank you for the unrelated context to a simple question. Please keep posting in bold and tagging Cliff in every post. That will surely go over well. There is 1% chance this is firmware related and 99% chance my latest post 89 demonstrates/reproduces the issue this thread goes wild about.
It's not even my problem, just trying to be helpful to this thread.
And to answer your question, I'm in the middle of gigs and the beta is stable for me. I'll update next month.
Please return now to post 89 and lets find out if that clearly and consistenly reproduces the issue where this thread is all about, also on the FXIII.
??? I'm simply trying to help and highlight important matters for the readers. Tagging Cliff is not something i normally do but he asked multiple times in this thread for precise information and i wanted his attention since i could reproduce the issue of this thread (i think, i hope).Thank you for the unrelated context to a simple question. Someone had asked him why he was using an old beta firmware.Thank you for the unrelated context to a simple question. Please keep posting in bold and tagging Cliff in every post. That will surely go over well.
