Wish Simple Modifier Copy/Paste

Saving time is the name of the game. Why this has not been implemented yet, I can’t understand, but please a simple 2 bottom Copy-Paste for modifiers.

Spending time to perfect a modifier's behavior is time well invested, but why repeat all the steps over and over…..

I've often wondered this as well.

In addition I would say it would be great to be able to save Modifiers.
This way once a complex tweak has been built and saved it is easily recalled in other Presets like blocks.

Saving a block with all channels in the Block Library will include the modifiers so they'll be in place when recalled. That's a reasonable workaround until/if….

So you also experience this.....?

Yea, that's what I've been doing....but not the same. I have many special Modifier set-ups for individual parameters, pedals, etc and it would be very useful to be able to recall and paste them into new blocks. Having them tied to an entire block's worth of parameters on import is very cumbersome.

Just my opinion....this has been around forever so I've got a system but....

I'm not sure what "this" is. I experience the modifiers being stored in the Block Library when I select "Save entire block (includes Modifiers)".

I suspect copy/paste of modifiers is similar to wanting to copy/paste scenes between presets. There's a lot of conditions that'd have to be met before the modifier could be successfully pasted and if they aren't all tested the modifier wouldn't work correctly but it might not be apparent until after the preset was overwritten and the modifier fails. That's never a happy user experience.

I'm sure the wish is recorded in Fractal's list of requests so we'll see what happens.

Seems like the modifier parameter set is finite based on editable values. Sure, if you try to scale it over every parameter that could be modified that is far too complex (like your scene copy example). But.....just as a finite collection of parameter values it should be recallable and the output of the modifier module then be scaled to function within the actual parameter range being modulated.

Just a hunch....

The "this" I was talking about if from a different thread....ignore.
