Covers with odd time signatures?

Yeah the elephant in the room :)

It’s a slippery slope though, who knows where they’ll end up if they start doing this.
Or Puscifer's "The Remedy", to slide on that slope a little slower:

I confess, I've been hooked on this tune lately and was setting up a preset to emulate Mat Mitchell based on some rig rundowns I found online. Then I found out that he's a Fractal guy. I'd nominate him for the (hopefully) next Gift of Tone series ;)

Or Puscifer's "The Remedy"
Or that, yes

Although to me, since I don’t ever have the patience (or skill) to count rhythms, and just go by ear, this one quite straightforward, and is only confusing if I pay attention to vocals.

With Tool that doesn’t always work right away because they change patterns and do other kinds of weird stuff.

But I love Puscifer (and A Perfect Circle), too.

Let's see...

Possum Kingdom - Toadies
Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden
Fell on Black Days - Soundgarden
Them Bones - Alice in Chains

Aside from Tool's hits, these are probably some of the more popular 90's songs with odd time signature (or parts with odd time sigs).

Odd time sigs hit the average listener's ear weird, so they're not as popular - they require a little "work" to listen to, which immediately makes most of them not immediately consumable to the masses, like your average Justin Bieber or Blink 182 song, but they're a ton of fun to play :D

Two on our current setlist are Turn It On Again by Genesis and Fooling Yourself by Styx, which has a 7/8 section during one of the keyboard sections.
