One of the comments underneath Level 42's "Running in the Family" is: "This video couldn't get any more 80s."

Not that Chesney's video is the most 90s thing ever, but there's one element that is. If anyone asks you "What did the 90s look like?", show 'em his shirt.
 
It was 1975 - I hitchhiked to Three Rivers Stadium to see Pink Floyd - I dropped some acid & got separated from some i knew that drove. I found a lone black man - i pulled out some hash & he handed me his field glasses....I got transfixed on Dave & did not give them back for a while (he never said a word) - I told myself... I want to learn how to do that....I went home & 2 days latter I bought my first electric guitar....while i did not (hee) get to Dave's talent to this day I still play in a band (this story was in Guitar Player Mag) - David Gilmore is the reason i play guitar.
 

People who think that drums and pianos just naturally sound this way when you stick a mic next to them...

...are as ignorant as I was a couple years ago. Masterful, is what it is.
