Bug? FM9 Edit Crashes

I have removed everything from this preset except for the Plex Delay block, but this was happening with the Multitap Delay and regular Delay Block as well. Curiously, I tried it with the Chorus block and was not able to replicate it. So it might be the actual 'type' of bypass mode that is causing this as some bypass modes are absent in the Chorus Block.

In order to recreate the crash, I was selecting different 'Bypass Modes' and then quickly switching channels and selecting another 'Bypass Mode'. After the second or third time, FM9 Edit will crash.

Update:

The crash goes away when removing all of the top row. When adding just a single shunt to the top row, the crash will happen.

Ok this is the most basic layout that will cause the crash. Any less shunts and the crash will not happen.

Sounds like a corrupt preset.

Try saving another preset (even an empty one) into that slot.

The second preset I uploaded was made from a fresh empty slot.

You're right. I meant that when dragging the Plex Block in to an empty preset.

I wasn't able to recreate this with said "crash" preset for a bit but then after switching back and forth a few times it crashed on that preset again.

Try going into Manage Presets.

Select the bad preset.

Delete

Click Save.

See if that helps.

Wouldn't that just delete the preset? Are you suggesting rebuilding the preset after deleting it?

I just spent the last 10 mins trying both examples and switching different bypass modes really super fast and different channels etc.. and not a single crash.

If I may suggest something, maybe it's a bad install of edit. Try reinstalling edit again.

Thanks for giving it a test. I don't know what to do about it, I can replicate this 100% of the time on the "Main 2025" preset but only like 75% of the time on the 'Crash" preset. It's very strange and I have no idea how to even troubleshoot or explain it. Willing to try anything tho.

Unfortunately not
Uninstalled and reinstalled directly from the downloader page and it's still happening.

That is exactly what I was doing. And also switching between channels really fast with the keys on my keyboard ABC&D. I did this for like 10 minutes back and forth with both presets and nothing happened.

Ya I was pressing the 'X' key to switch channels. This is consistent for me. It's actually irrelevant how quickly I do this. If I just casually switch bypass modes between 3 or 4 channels it will crash. I just found that out.
