Always wanted to have one of these.
Finally stumbled onto one in great shape and for a reasonable price.
It's actually not that large.

Can be used mono or stereo.

Back: bottom is closed, top is open.

Has two Black Shadow MC-90 speakers. I may replace the bottom one with a 12L.

Looks awesome! Super clean.

In the early nineties I use to have the 4x12 version with the Black Shadows in the top and the EV's in the bottom. I think around 98-99 I traded up for a Rectro cab also 4x12's another great cab. However it was a big mistake using that cab to trade up to the Recto cab.

That's a keeper! Good luck with it.

My 4x12 of this series is still my favorite cab... I'm thinking of getting rid of my rectifier cabs and picking up another one when I find one super clean

I had a pair of these. Pretty cool speakers. I had the 4x12 with metal grill too. That thing weighed 1000lbs.

Those things still look awesome. I wanted the one with the EVs in it. I heard they had a 4x12 like it, also available with the 12Ls. That would outweigh my truck!

Congrats, that’s a cool cab Alex!

I had that one (4x12 with the EVs). It was ridiculous to move.

It is rumored that Mesa is going to reissue these cabs - the 4x12 and the 2x12 but only with V30s.

Congrats on the awesome cab! I got one of these a few years ago and LOVE it! Mine came with what I think was a stock EVM12L on the bottom and the top speaker was an aftermarket Eminence Patriot Cannabis Rex. I quickly change that out for a Celestion Redback. I think the EVM12L & Redback are a great match.

Replaced the bottom MC-90 with a EV-12L. Tremendous sonical upgrade.
I picked up one of these unloaded about a month back because I wasn't happy with one of my 2x12s and I JUST so happened to have an MC-90 and a EV-12L I could put into it. AND WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA this thing rips.

and... now I want a second to replace my other 2x12 I run.

Yeah, it's the combination that works. I wasn't too fond of the dual C90s, just like I'm not really fond of the MC90 Dynacab.
But the C9-EV12L combination works great. (as does the equivalent Dynacab combo).
